Almost there for me
This conditioner has a lot of great qualities. It’s nice and thick coming out of the bottle, spreads easily in the hair, rinses out well, doesn’t leave my hair feeling heavy or weigh it down, and it doesn’t make my hair get extra oily during the day. I have extremely fine hair and it’s long so it gets very tangled without conditioner, and it still got pretty tangled even with this conditioner, but there was definite improvement. There are only 2 reasons I can’t give it 5 stars. For me, I had to use quite a bit more of the conditioner than the shampoo, because with the shampoo a little goes a long way, but that’s not quite the same with the conditioner. So I ran out of the conditioner much earlier than the shampoo. The other reason was the scent. I’m kind of a stickler for my shampoo and conditioner having the same scent (or pretty close). The conditioner, to me, had a chemically, almost plasticy smell to it, which was slightly unappealing. Other than that…it is a great product.
26.08.2021Doesn't weigh your hair down
I have been looking for a conditioner that helps my fine hair. Since 45, (I am now 49 and hanging on for dear life) I noticed that I was losing hair, the older I got the more hair I was losing (at least it seemed that way). I always had find hair, but never had an issue with lifeless, dull hair that looked flat. This conditioner definitely helped my fine hair have volume and leaves it so soft and silky to the touch. It didn’t weigh it down at all. I have been using this system for over 6 weeks and I can honestly say that I notice I am not losing as much hair (seriously). The bottle looks small and I was afraid it wouldn’t last long, but you really don’t need to use a lot to get it washed and feel clean. I did have trouble with the pump on this one and couldn’t use it at all. There is a slight scent that isn’t overpowering or medicinal smelling (since peri – I have some trouble with certain scents). Since I have only been using this for 6 weeks, I haven’t noticed a ton of growth, but I have definitely noticed as mentioned earlier less hair loss.

I love this conditioner. The product is really thick when it comes out of the bottle but does not weigh your hair down after use. Makes your hair feel silky and give a great shine. When compared to other volumizing conditioner’s this one does stand out. Giving good volume.

Complete honesty here…I couldn’t use this product. BUT…my sister in law took the products (the Wake Up Call shampoo and conditioner) and she loves them!!! I get scent triggered migraines. I can like the scent but my head doesn’t always agree. That’s how the switcheroo came about. She said her grays are actually cooperating and her hair feels softer. She loves it!

About the Brand
Sonsoles - Founder & CEO
The idea of Better Not Younger started when I was struggling to find products that worked on my own changing hair.
After 25 years working on haircare brands for Procter & Gamble and L’Oréal, I was amazed that there was still so little out there for women like me.
The more women I spoke to, the more convinced I became. I kept hearing the same stories. Women who felt unrepresented and misrepresented by what was in the stores and in advertising. We felt better than ever, yet youthfulness was the only standard of beauty we saw celebrated.
I decided to leave my corporate life behind to launch Better Not Younger. As a woman in my 50s, I questioned whether this was a crazy endeavor, and wondered constantly whether I should retire gracefully, ‘act my age’, and leave entrepreneurship to the kids. Fortunately, this amazing community convinced me that being a woman in her 50s could mean more than cruises and grandkids and above all, that every day is an opportunity to be better and try something new.
